We promote actions for equitable access to drinking water services.
AGUA+ is a project being developed in Guatemala through CARE with the objective of improving equitable access to drinking water and sanitation services for the population, especially women and girls, in communities prioritized by partners and strategic allies in Guatemala, through the training of leaders to promote collective actions.
The project is designed to be implemented over 24 months and will carry out capacity building activities for better management of drinking water and sanitation services in communities in the municipalities of Tacaná and San Rafael Pie de la Cuesta in the department of San Marcos, and in communities in municipalities prioritized by Fundación TECHO Guatemala.

CARE will implement this project in coordination with the Municipal Water and Sanitation Offices (OMAS), public entities and with drinking water and sanitation networks made up of governmental and non-governmental organizations linked to the sector. In addition, we are strengthening our relationships and strategic alliances with these key actors to work together.
